Not bothering to confirm or deny that they are embarking a real-life romance, they keep adding fuel to the mounting dating talks with their close bond. Actress Miley Cyrus does not have swine flu, her rep has confirmed. Cody Linley, Cyrus' friend and old co-star from The Hannah Montana Show, had earlier said that the 16-year-old ran off stage during a Sept. 29 concert in Salt Lake City, Utah, according to KTLA.com.

Cody said: "She just got really sick and she had to run off stage because things were just, like, on her heart too heavy. The next day she told me she had the swine flu." However, Cyrus' rep told Us mag: "She did not have swine flu."

Teenage pop star Miley Cyrus has released a homemade rap video explaining why she deleted her account from the popular social networking site Twitter last week.

The 16-year-old singer's departure from the site puzzled many of the 1.1 million Twitter followers she had accumulated.

"Yeah the rumours are true, I deleted my Twitter," she raps in the video, in front of several teenage girls dancing in unison. "Can you believe it?"

To a loud beat, she rhymes that it wasn't her friends who told her to delete her account.

"The reasons are simple," Cyrus continues in the video. "I want my private life private -- I'm done tryin' to please."

Her father, country music star Billy Ray Cyrus, has encouraged her to start using the website again.

On Thursday, he tweeted that Miley "can't leave everyone now."

"You are a light in a world of darkness," he wrote. "We r countin on u."

However, Miley Cyrus' Twitter account remains inactive.

"FYI Liam doesn't have a Twitter and he wants ME to delete mine with good reason," read one of her final tweets. She was likely referring to Liam Hemsworth, her co-star in the upcoming movie "The Last Song."

Miley Cyrus had been using Twitter frequently to post short messages on topics ranging from snapshots of her daily life to her favourite song lyrics.

Now the social networking site is flush with comments from fans who say they miss the teen pop star.

"Twitter is not the same," wrote one fan.

"I miss her so much," wrote another.

Publicists for Cyrus and her father have so far declined requests to comment on the matter.

Mark McLeod, 53, has been banned from going near her, her family or her colleagues.

However, he told police in Georgia that he was “receiving secret messages” from 16-year-old Miley through her hit TV show, Hannah Montana, reports the Daily Star.

McLeod tried to stalk Cyrus, who has been busy filming for the movie, The Last Song, in coastal Georgia since mid-June, it is reported.

The police arrested McLeod, after security officers of Walt Disney Pictures reported that he had come to the seaside film again in spite of a warning from the police.

Teen sensation Miley Cyrus is teaming with fashion designer Max Azria to create a clothing line for Wal-Mart, according to Women's Wear Daily.

Cyrus, who rose to fame as Hannah Montana on the Disney Channel, is working with Azria on a junior collection that includes tops, pants, graphic T-shirts and shoes, all priced at under $20. The collection is expected to be in stores and online in August.

Azria, who designs a higher-end namesake label and the moderately-priced BCBG Max Azria brand, often dresses the pop star for her red carpet events.

The new collection will bear both their names.

A Los Angeles woman is suing Miley Cyrus over her now infamous “slant-eyed” picture, claiming that over 1 million people of Asian Pacific Islander descent in the Los Angeles area are victims “of [Cyrus’] discriminatory acts.”

But where the suit gets seriously insane is the amount claimed: $4 billion in damages, and possibly more!

In the suit filed in the LA County Superior Court, Lucie J. Kim claims that each Asian Pacific Islander in L.A. County is entitled to a minimum of $4,000 for a civil-rights violation stemming from the photograph.

Kim claims in the suit that Miley “knew or should have known that her image would be publicly disseminated via the media, which Cyrus knew focused on her private life,” and that Miley “had actual knowledge that her conduct was in fact a form of racism, prejudice and mockery of the physical attributes of Asian Pacific Islanders.”

I’m not expert on racism, but the last time I looked Pacific Islanders and Asians are significantly different, so besides the insane amount of money asked for, it’s interesting to see Islanders and Asians lumped together in the same ethnic grouping. Besides, no sane person would think Miley was being racist towards a Maori person or someone from New Guinea, it was clearly a racist slur at Asians, in particular a slur that has been historically directed at Chinese and Japanese people.

Cyrus, 16, was responding on Thursday to demands from an Asian-American group that she apologize for the snapshot which surfaced on the Internet this week, and in a blog posted on her official Web site, she said she's becoming a media target.

The OCA, a national organization that promotes the welfare of Asian Pacific Americans, had accused Cyrus of taunting and mocking Asians when she and a group of friends pulled their eyes sideways in a photo. One of the group was Asian.

"In NO way was I making fun of any ethnicity! I was simply making a goofy face. When did that become newsworthy?," Cyrus said in a blog posting at www.mileyworld.com.

She said she was sorry if people "looked at those pics and took them wrong and out of context" but she did not apologize.

"It seems someone is trying to make something out of nothing to me. If that would of been anyone else, it would of been overlooked! I definitely feel like the press is trying to make me out as the new 'BAD GIRL'!"

Cyrus, best known as the star of the Disney Channel show "Hannah Montana", said she felt that the media was focusing on her since pop star Britney Spears had turned her life around.

"I feel like now that Britney (Spears) is back on top of her game again, they need someone to pick on! Lucky me!," Cyrus said.

Some of our good will toward Miley Cyrus evaporated when she complained to Ryan Seacrest that the Porsche she got for her 16th birthday was USED, since it used to be her mother's. We assume her diamond shoes are also too tight and that she's not sleeping well because the piles and piles of money that make up her mattress aren't terribly comfortable. In short, WAAAAH.

But, it's also a VERY 16-year-old-girl thing to rib your parents about on TV -- well, if you are rich -- and it's nice to see a kid in Hollywood acting her age, even if what's coming out of her mouth is completely unrelatable to most of our lives. I'd prefer that than her being paraded around nightclubs like she's 25 so her mother can try and pose as her older sister.

So many people hated this. Maybe I'm just going soft, but I think it works. It's soft and sweet, and she looks like a young girl at an awards show rather than how stiff and stodgy she looked in her red dress at last year's Oscars. Okay, so the necklace disappearing into her cleavage is maybe not a great idea. And the cleavage itself, I can't decide if it's a lot or a normal amount -- from some angles it seems fine, and from others, I wonder. But overall we thought Miley looked charming.

The two of us, thus far, have been on an island with that one, though. We don't mind being alone out here -- it's very peaceful -- but we'd PREFER it if we had some company, say, in the form of Sawyer sans shirt. Or Desmond, who could write messages in the sand and then read them aloud in his dreamy accent. I really hope they vote.

Days after earning her learner's permit teen superstar Miley Cyrus is getting a car - her mom's old Porsche Cayenne!

The 16-year-old's mother Tish handed down the keys as an early Christmas present.

"Tish got a new car recently, so she's giving Miley her old car. She's so excited. Her mom lets her drive to work when she's with her," a source told to People.comAnd if you thought a gazillionaire like Cyrus would demand a fancy new car, well, think again.

In a humble moment, the teen said: "I want my parents to know that I'm happy with anything that they get me. I know I'd be really lucky to even get a car."

Miley Cyrus will become the latest person to channel Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” when the video for her Breakout song “Fly On The Wall” debuts soon. Except this time, instead of werewolves and zombies, Cyrus will be terrorized by a more 21st century monster: The paparazzi. “The gist of the concept is that she and her boyfriend are on a date, leaving a movie, when suddenly, he gets overcome by some strange cough,” director Philip Andelman told MTV. “Suddenly, he turns into a paparazzo and begins chasing Miley. Soon, she is backed into a corner with nowhere to turn and the paparazzi approaching, when suddenly, instead of attacking or photographing her, they break into choreography.” Sounds cool, but no way can it hold a candle to that French film school that paid homage to the “Thriller” video, or those prisoners in the Philippines, or that spontaneous “Thriller” dance on the train.

U.S. president-elect Barack Obama's two daughters have been invited to appear on the popular children's TV show Hannah Montana, starring Miley Cyrus.

Actor Billy Ray Cyrus, who co-stars on the show and is Miley's real-life dad, revealed in an interview on Monday night that executives had asked Malia Obama, 10, and her sister Sasha, 7, to appear in an episode possibly around April.

"They probably will. The invitation is there," Cyrus told Access Hollywood.

"You know the Hannah Montana film comes out in April. Maybe something might happen around then."

Pressed for details, Cyrus said; "I can't, I can't. I have got to keep a secret."

In the series, Miley Cyrus plays a schoolgirl with a secret life as a pop star. The show has a massive following.

Obama has said in interviews that Malia is a big fan of Hannah Montana, but the Obamas have been prone to keeping their daughters away from the limelight.

"I think that would be really cool and if anything, have them visit the set," said Miley.

On the Nov. 7 episode of The Tyra Banks Show, Miley Cyrus reveals her first job: Cleaning toilets!

"I had one normal job and I actually liked it," said the "Hannah Montana" singer (who earned $18.2 million last year). "I worked at this place called Sparkles Cleaning Service and I cleaned houses. I was, like, 11 ... I can scrub a toilet."

Next up for the teen queen: Her 16th birthday on Nov. 23.

She told Banks about her dream car - a Mercedes.

"I want it black and then just the little Mercedes signs to be pink," she said. "I would like the stitching and steering wheel to be pink."

She celebrated her Sweet 16 seven weeks early, on Oct. 5, in Disneyland.

More than 5,000 guests (many of whom paid $250) partied with her at the Anaheim, Calif., theme park, which was shut down for the day.

Asked what she wanted at the time, she said, "My parents shut down Disneyland for me," she told the AP, "so I'm good for a while."

This week, it was announced that Cyrus will perform on NBC's live broadcast of the 82nd Annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade from New York City.

Since most of that success has fallen under her fictional Hannah Montana Disney franchise, Cyrus is now out to form her own musical identity, co-writing most of her platinum No. 1 album, "Breakout." The album's second single, "Fly on the Wall," finds the singer influenced by Gwen Stefani and Avril Lavigne, while her more experienced (read: older) co-writers wink and inject some '80s new wave influences, a la Blondie and the B-52s, which means fans' parents can join in on the fun, too. Cyrus is still growing into her voice, but she gives a convincing turn as a kick-ass pop/rock chick, especially on the bridge where she gets a chance to let loose.

"I am begging [to get my first car]", Miley Cyrus tells Mario Lopez of "Extra" while making a guest stint on the syndicated entertainment news magazine show.

Miley Cyrus will turn 16 years old next month and just like most other teenagers at her age, she wants to get her own car. Joining Mario Lopez as a guest co-host of "Extra", she confesses, "I am begging [to get my first car]" adding, "I got to go take my test first - I don't really want to go get my picture taken. It's, like, really hard to pick out your outfit. I was the dummy that asked, 'Can you give your own picture?'"

Prior to her early star-studded birthday bash, held at California's Disneyland back on October 5, Miley had made public her wish list, telling Radio Disney among the thing she wanted most for her presents is a car. Describing the brand new car she'd been dreaming of, she revealed that she wanted "to get something bad on the road." She went on detailing that the car must be "big enough for all" her friends and "to scare" any other cars on the road. "I'm a good driver but it's everyone else that I'm worried about!" she jokingly said at that time.As for her actual birthday, which is on November 23, Miley tells Mario she will be heading back home to Nashville to perform at the American Music Awards. Miley on Justin Gaston: He's a Great Friend

Miley Cyrus and 20-year-old model Justin Gaston are pals, but her family would be A-okay if it turned into something more, says the 15-year-old Hannah Montana star.

"I just think right now everything is really good," Cyrus tells Ryan Seacrest on his radio show. "He's been a really great friend more than anything."

But if the friendship were to blossom into something else, her parents wouldn't necessarily object. "My family's like, whatever happens, happens," Cyrus says.

Asked point blank if they are dating, Cyrus answers, "Maybe. Maybe not."

Rumors have been swirling about the relationship between Cyrus and Gaston – whom dad Billy Ray Cyrus calls "a good kid" – since they started spending time together earlier this year.

Adds Miley: "Everyone started judging us as soon as we started hanging out." But it looks like things will remain status quo, for now, she says.

"He's a really great Christian guy. We have the kind of relationship where we can talk about [things related to being in the public eye] and he gets it," says Cyrus.

And it's good to be wary, Cyrus says – especially since Gaston, an aspiring country singer, works with her dad.

"That's what would be hard about dating him," she says. "What if anything happens? What would happen after that?"

The home of the computer nerd who allegedly leaked candid photos of MILEY CYRUS online after hacking into her email account has been raided by the FBI.
Josh Holly, 19, is a prime suspect in a federal investigation.
Police raided his Tennessee home and seized computer equipment after learning Holly has allegedly bragged to pals about flooding the Internet with saucy Cyrus pictures, according to TMZ.com.According to Wired.com, Holly also boasted about posing as a MySpace.com administrator to steal Cyrus’ password, and using it to unlock her Gmail account.
Charges against Holly have not been filed as WENN goes to press.

Miley Cyrus fans can now literally slurp their favorite star after the teen sensation created her very own milkshake in Hollywood on Tuesday night (14Oct08).
Cyrus, her pet pooch, father Billy Ray, boyfriend Justin Gaston and a group of friends were special guests at the newly-opened Millions of Milkshakes on Santa Monica Boulevard and gorged themselves on high-calorie dairy treats.
And while Cyrus’ pals opted for The Obama and a Britney Spears shake, Cyrus was offered the chance to create her own, which will become a menu item.
She told Hollywoodtv.com, “I put vanilla and cookie dough in mine. It was greasy and slippery. Oh my God, I’m such a fatty!”
Cyrus fed boyfriend Gaston and sampled her father’s shake while posing for photos and chatting with Millions of Milkshakes staff.
And it’s clear the Cyrus clan will be back for more - upon leaving the shake shop, the young singer/actress cooed, “This is delicious.”
Her dad added, “This is the best milkshake.”
